6/194 Piggery at approximately from 30 - metres south of Penwarne Barton Farmhouse

GV II

Piggery with adjoining probably mangel house or implement shed. Circa mid C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roof with hipped end (north east), replaced with corrugated iron at the other end. Plan: Long rectangular range of 4 pigsties left; remodelled from former mangel houses or implement sheds, another room remodelled as stable right, and mangel house, with wide doorway at the front, far right. Exterior: Single storey. 4 regularly spaced doorways to regular front on the left; right of this another doorway and at far right a wide doorway. Old ledged door with barred top ventilator to front of stable. Interior: not inspected.
