Description

ST BURYAN LOWER ALSIA SW 32 NE 4/106 Goose houses at approximately 40 - metres of Alsia Mill GV II 2 probable goose houses. C18 or early C19. Granite rubble with roughly-hewn granite monoliths. 2 approximately circular chambers built within a stone and earth bank. Chambers have monolithic jambs and lintels. Right-hand chamber is larger and has holes cut in the jambs for hanging door which is missing. This is a complete example of a rare building type.
