Description

The wall to the beach on the northeast side of Portquin is possibly from the 18th century. It is constructed with vertically laid slate stones on bedrock, forming the northern boundary of the beach. The wall extends to the east with an ashlar and stone rubble section, and to the west, it continues as a stone rubble wall beneath Quay Cottage.
