Description

The slip and retaining wall on the south and east side of the beach at Port Quin dates from the 18th century. It is made of slate and stone rubble. The retaining wall on the south-east side of the beach is built on bedrock and features vertically coursed slate stone rubble. There is a stone rubble slip adjoining to the north-west, which was originally associated with the fish cellars located above on the south-east.
