Description

Merchant Curnow's Quay is a quay wall dating from the 18th century, with some parts rebuilt in the 19th century. The original walls at the west end are made of vertically set elvan and granite rubble, while the later rebuilding features horizontally bedded granite rubble and copper slag blocks. The western half retains original dressed granite copings. The entire wall is slightly battered.
