Description
The Wills tomb, located approximately 15 meters north of the east end of the Church of St Buryan, is a chest tomb from the early 19th century. It commemorates the Reverend Thomas Wills, who died in 1802 at the age of 62, and his wife Selina Margaret, who passed away in 1814 at the age of 84. The tomb was created by C Hutchens and is made of dressed granite with a slate inset on the lid. It features a rectangular chest set on a large rectangular base, which was originally fenced. The chest has a tall hollow-chamfered plinth and a moulded border around the lid.
