Description

A terrace of three similar small houses located in Cross Street, Helston, dating to the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of local rubble with an ashlar plinth and granite pilasters at each end. They feature granite lintels and decorative granite lambs. The roofs are covered in grouted scantle slate, except for number 17, where the roof has been replaced with asbestos slate. The buildings have a moulded fascia board, and cast-iron ogee gutters on numbers 13 and 15. They follow a double-depth plan. The buildings are two storeys high, with a regular six-window range, divided into three fronts of two windows each. Each front has a doorway on the left side. Numbers 15 and 17 have 20th-century sash windows with imitation glazing bars and horns. Number 13 has a similar sash window above the doorway, while the remaining windows are 20th-century replacements with top openings. The interior has not been inspected.
