Description

This chest tomb, headstone, and lid are located approximately 8 metres north of the Church of St Maddern. They date from the 18th century or early 19th century and feature indecipherable inscriptions. The tomb is made of dressed granite, with a slate inset on the rectangular chest lid. The vertical headstone has a shaped top, while the fallen headstone has a round top.
