Description
This is a gas lamp post located approximately 5 meters southwest of the gates to the Church of St George on Brandon Hill in Bristol. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a moulded base that supports a fluted shaft, which is equipped with a switch bar and topped with a square lantern. The lamp has been converted to electricity.
