Description

This gas lamp post, located approximately 5 metres east of the gates to the Church of St George on Brandon Hill, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a moulded base leading to a fluted shaft, which includes a switch bar and is topped with a square lantern. The lamp has been converted to electricity.
