Description

A terrace of eleven houses, numbers 14 to 34 York Road, was built around 1830 in Bristol. The houses are of stucco and roughcast construction with limestone dressings, and have a hidden roof. They follow a double-depth plan and are arranged over three storeys and a basement, with each house featuring a single window on each floor. Each house has a doorcase on the right-hand side. This includes a bracketed flat canopy, a rectangular overlight, and a six-panel door. The windows are 8/8-pane sashes, topped with a cornice, and the terrace is finished with a parapet. The interior has not been inspected. The terrace represents a complete row of modest early 19th-century terraced housing.
