Description

This is an attached house that forms part of the St Vincent's Rocks Hotel, built in the mid-19th century. It features a stucco exterior with limestone dressings and has a double-depth plan. The building is two storeys tall and has a symmetrical front with a cornice and parapet. The entrance includes a semicircular-arched doorway with a batswing fanlight and paired six-panel doors. The ground-floor windows are set in semicircular-arched recesses and have plate-glass sashes. Above, there is a tented first-floor balcony with cast-iron railings, featuring pedimented lattice sections and panels adorned with round-arched anthemia and cobweb spandrels. Inside, there is a central mid-19th century dogleg stair with cast-iron moulded balusters and a newel post, curtailing on both sides, along with six-panel doors and panelled shutters. The house is linked internally with the St Vincent's Rocks Hotel.
