Description
The Georgian House Hotel is a house that has been converted into a hotel, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with stone and stucco dressings, topped with a hipped tile roof. The building features a three-storey central section that has five bays, flanked by two-storey recessed wings with four bays each, and two bays at both ends that project forward. The top cornice is prominent, with a stucco parapet at the center. The windows are fitted with stucco wedge lintels and were originally designed with gauged-brick flat arches. They are sashed and include glazing bars and horns. The central entrance is highlighted by an eared architrave and a 20th-century six-panel door. Additionally, the entrances to the third and eleventh bays also have wedge lintels.
