Description
This retaining wall, located approximately 90 metres southwest of Clifton College Chapel in Bristol, is constructed from limestone ashlar and squared, coursed rubble. The wall features a rubble retaining structure topped with a balustrade that has moulded coping. It includes square piers adorned with sunken panels and cusped heads. There are also curved steps situated beneath the South African War Memorial.
