Description
No. 20 St Anthony's Road is a picturesque neo-Georgian villa built around 1910, notable for its high quality of detail. The building has two storeys and is finished in white plaster. It features unpainted natural timber elements, including bargeboards, brackets, moulded window frames, and a cornice. The entrance is located at the east end, adorned with a segmental hood supported by console brackets, and there is a ground floor bay to the left. The gable is asymmetrical and includes a scalloped circular recess.
The symmetrical south side showcases a bowed two-storey centre with a loggia supported by stone Tuscan columns, along with a five-light first floor window that has a raised central light and is topped by a gable, flanked by flat-topped dormers. The west side has a narrow semi-circular bow at its centre, and there is a lean-to structure on the north side. The roof is covered with greenish graded slates and features overhanging eaves.
