Description
No 34 on Purwell is an early 18th-century building with a stuccoed facade featuring an eaves bracket cornice. The front of the roof is covered with modern pantiles, while the rear has slate and includes kneelers. There is a stucco band at the first floor level. The building is two storeys high with three dormers and five sash windows arranged in a pattern of two, one, and two. The first-floor windows have late 19th-century glazing, but the ground floor windows are missing their glazing bars. The central entrance is flanked by narrow windows, and the porch has been modernized. No 34 is part of a group with Nos 35 to 39 (odd) opposite, along with their associated listed walls, gate piers, and railings.
