Description

Cypress Cottage is a building from the early 20th century, likely based on an earlier cottage. It is located on the south side of Mudeford, adjacent to Nos 53 and 55. The cottage has a rendered exterior with a gabled slate roof and features some mock timber work in the gable. The sides of the building are recessed, and most of the windows are modern. It is listed as Grade II because it contributes to the group value of nearby listed buildings.

Cypress Cottage, along with Nos 51 to 57 (odd) and the southwest part of No 59, is set back at an angle to the road within long gardens. Nos 1 and 2 Prospect Cottages, located opposite, are also part of this group and hold local interest.
