Description

No. 59, specifically the south-west recessed wing, is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of Mudeford. It features a stucco facade and a slate roof, standing two storeys tall. The building has two windows with early 19th-century casements, and the ground floor windows are topped with segmental arches. There is also one round window on the ground floor. The modern part of the house to the east is not included in this listing.

Nos. 51 to 57 (odd) and the south-west part of No. 59 are set back at an angle to the road, situated in long gardens, forming a group. Nos. 1 and 2 Prospect Cottages opposite are also part of this group and are of local interest.
