Description

This is a street lamp located approximately 10 metres south of number 18 on Market Street in Poole. It dates from the late 19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp features a round plinth with a decorated panel and a band that includes shells and the arms of Poole. Below the shaft, there is an enriched band, and the shaft itself has a decorative spiral binding. The lamp is supported by a scrolled bracket and has a tapered square shape with a cap and finial on top.
