Description

This is a street lamp located adjacent to the rear boundary of number 24 High Street in Poole. It dates from the late 19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp features a round plinth with a decorated panel and a band adorned with shells and the arms of Poole above it. Below the shaft, there is an enriched band, and the shaft itself has a decorative spiral binding. The lamp is supported by a scrolled bracket and has a tapered square shape with a cap and finial on top.
