Description
55 and 57 Parr Street is a house that has been divided into two residences. It was built in the early 19th century and features a stucco front with brick construction, including brick lateral and rear gable stacks, topped by a slate hipped roof. The building has a double-depth plan with a rear wing and stands two storeys tall, comprising a three-window range. There are paired doorways, with the original left-hand doorway and an inserted right-hand doorway, both covered by a bracketed canopy and fitted with boarded doors. The windows include 6/6-pane sashes, 3/6-pane sashes on the right-hand side of the first floor, and the remaining windows are late 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
