Description
Tower House is a mid-19th century house that has been converted into an office. It features a stucco exterior with stucco stacks and a slate hipped roof. The building has a double-depth plan and is double-fronted, characterized by pilaster strips and a central bay that is set forward. A square crenellated tower projects through the ridge, adorned with lozenges above the cornice and round-arched windows. The entrance includes a distyle porch with bases and a cornice leading to a half-glazed six-panel door. The ground-floor windows have casements with margin bars and a small-paned window above the transoms, while the first-floor features outer eight-over-eight pane sashes and a central six-over-six pane sash. The interior has not been inspected. This house is an unusual example of Late Georgian architecture, notable for its central tower.
