Description
This is a street lamp located 2 metres east of Number 1 Thames Mews in Poole, dating from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a round plinth with a decorated panel, a band adorned with shells, and the arms of Poole above it. The column has an enriched band and decorative spiral binding. It is supported by scrolled brackets and has a tapered square lamp with a cap and finial.
