Description

This is a street lamp located approximately 5 metres east of number 5 on Thames Street in Poole. It dates from the late 19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp features a round plinth with a decorated panel, a band adorned with shells, and the arms of Poole above it. Below the column, there is an enriched band, and the column itself has decorative spiral binding. The lamp is supported by scrolled brackets and has a tapered square shape with a cap and finial at the top.
