Description
Stanley Villas consists of two pairs of semi-detached houses built in the later 19th century, situated above Camden Road. They are constructed from limestone ashlar and feature shallow single-pitched hipped slate roofs with medium-wide eaves, as well as a moulded stack on the party wall and plinths. The houses have double depth plans and are two storeys tall with basements. Each house has two windows at the first floor, which are plate-glass sash windows. The inner ranges have single-storey canted bays that include cornices and blocking courses. The outer ranges feature four-panel doors with overlights and shallow hoods supported by consoles. Notably, No.1 has sliding louvred shutters at the first floor, while No.4 has an upper pelmet that once supported shutters. Additionally, Nos. 1, 2, and 4 have 20th-century porches. The interiors have not been inspected.
