Description
Bellevue is a detached house located at a right angle to Summerfield Road. It was built in the early 19th century and has had some additions made in the 20th century. The house is constructed of limestone ashlar, which has been painted on the left return. It features a double pitched roof with moulded kneelers, slate on the front slope, and concrete double Roman tiles on the rest of the roof. The house has moulded stacks at the coped gable ends and a double depth plan.
The exterior is two storeys high with a symmetrical three-window front. The windows are six-over-six pane sash windows with chamfered arrises and some crown glass. There is a central simple enclosed stone porch that leads to a six-panel door with glazing at the top. The rear of the house has various 20th-century windows. The interior has not been inspected.
