Description
27, 28, and 29 Richmond Place are terrace houses built around 1825, with No. 29 first leased on February 11, 1825. They are constructed from limestone ashlar, with Nos. 28 and 29 painted, and feature Welsh slate roofs. The houses have a single depth plan with rear extensions and doorways located on the left side.
The exterior consists of three storeys, each with two windows. Most have plain plate glass sashes, except for No. 29, which features six/six-pane sashes. There is a continuous sill band at the second floor that aligns with the cornice of No. 26, suggesting that the second floor may have been added later to these three houses. The design includes a cornice, parapet, plain roof, and an ashlar stack with pots on the right side of each house. No. 27 has a solid ashlar porch with a late 20th-century door and window, No. 28 has a small open porch, and No. 29 has a plain recessed doorway. The rear elevation was not inspected.
