Description
No. 8 Coomb End is a building dating from around 1800. It is constructed from coursed rubble with quoins and ashlar dressings, topped with a slate roof featuring coped verges. The ashlar chimneys have moulded capping that has recently been replaced with brick. The building stands three storeys high and has three windows: the ground and second floors feature plain sashes with glazing bars, while the first floor has casements. The central window on the first floor is a Venetian style with a keystone and "W" glazing in the centre light. The side windows on the ground and first floors are paired and separated by a central stone mullion. The central doorway has an edge-roll design, a flat stone hood supported by cut stone brackets, and a six-panel door.
