Description
Hope House Surgery and Number 10 to the rear is a building dating from around 1700, although it has been significantly restored, likely in the late 19th century. The structure is two storeys high and constructed from coursed limestone rubble. It features a slate roof with overhanging eaves and end chimneys, with only the bases made of ashlar stone.
The front has five windows, which are modern two-light stone mullion types with modern casements. There is a central doorway with stopped ovolo moulded reveals and a half-glazed door. The interior has been completely rearranged. At the rear, there is a gabled stair turret next to an older two-storey extension (Number 10) that has two square mullion windows.
