Description

Manor Farmhouse is an 18th-century building, with early additions, altered in the mid-to-late 19th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with an overhanging slate roof and two ashlar chimneys with moulded capping. The farmhouse has three windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor, with a projecting bay to the left of centre. Most of the windows are late 19th-century glazing bar cross sashes; the two right-hand first-floor windows have raised surrounds. A half-glazed door is located off-centre to the right, with a beaded reveal and bracketed hood. To the right is a lower coach and cart house wing, now converted into a dwelling known as Manor Farmhouse Barn and covered with blue asbestos slates. The garden front features three windows to the left and a large box hedge framing the door. A hedge is also present on the left-hand corner.
