Description
This is a parish boundary marker dated 1823, made of cast iron. It has a domed hollow post with a flat face and broad concave sides. The front features raised lettering in bold Roman type that reads "BRISTOL TURNPIKE TRUST" vertically, with the date displayed horizontally on the top. To the left, it has the inscription "SALTFORD PH" and to the right, "KEYSM PH," both on raised panels. The post is partially hidden by later sidewalk paving and is positioned directly against the boundary wall of nearby houses, located opposite Norman Road.
