Description
This building is a garden structure located 100 yards south of Bathampton Lodge. It was originally a bath house, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The exterior is made of ashlar stone and features a hipped slate roof that overhangs on three sides, creating a veranda supported by plain wooden posts. At the rear, there is an ashlar chimney stack. The building has Gothic-style casement windows, which are blocked at the front, and a Gothic panelled door set in an ogee moulded surround. Inside, there is a fireplace with a four-centred arch and a stone staircase leading down to the bath area.
