Description
Preshute House is an early 19th-century building constructed from ashlar Bath stone. It features a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves supported by cut brackets and has ashlar stacks with cornicing. The house is two storeys tall and has a moulded string course above the ground floor. The front facade includes three ranges of sash windows with glazing bars; the ground floor windows have moulded cornices on moulded consoles. There is a door set in an ashlar porch, which has a balustrade above, with each pier of the balustrade topped by a pediment. The east elevation is similar to the north but lacks a door or porch. There are extensive late 19th-century additions to the south and west, made of red brick and partly slate-hung.
