Description
The chest tomb located to the east of the north porch of the Parish Church of St. Swithun's dates back to 1760. It is made of ashlar and features inscribed panels on the sides, although the inscriptions are illegible. The tomb has a moulded cornice. The chest tombs in Bathford Churchyard are noted for their good and extensive collection of classical and traditional local tomb designs, which significantly enhance the church's setting.
