Description
The Evans Memorial in Perrymead Cemetery is a memorial dating from around 1855, constructed from pennant stone. It is designed in a Neo-Classical style, resembling a Roman altar. The memorial features a plain plinth, a moulded base, and a slightly tapered shaft that culminates in a corniced pyramidal top. The front face includes a sunk panel with a gothic head and sunk pendentives. There is an incised inscription dedicated to Susan Evans, who died in 1855.
