Description
The Roan Cross in Perrymead Cemetery is a memorial dating from around 1878, constructed of limestone in the Gothic Revival style. It features a cross set on a square base that transitions to an octagonal shape with partly chamfered corners, and then back to a square base with a lucarne on each face. The cross bears a painted inscription dedicated to John William Roan, who died in 1878.
