Description
This chest tomb, located one yard from the rood stair turret of the parish church, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It features inscribed panels that are currently illegible, flanked by pilasters that are fluted and adorned with foliage and rinceau designs. The tomb is topped with a plain entablature. This chest tomb is part of a notable collection of classical and traditional tomb forms, enhancing the setting of the church.
