Description

This chest tomb, located 15 yards south of the Rood Stairtower of Holy Trinity Church, dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone ashlar. It features illegible square inscribed panels, corner balusters, and a moulded plinth and cornice. The chest tombs are a notable collection of local and classical tomb styles and significantly enhance the setting of the church.
