Description

This chest tomb, located 15 yards to the south of the east end of the chancel of the parish church, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar and features a square shape with inscribed panels, although the inscriptions are illegible. The tomb is adorned with fluted pilasters and an entablature. It is part of a notable collection of classical and traditional local tomb forms, enhancing the setting of the church.
