Description
No. 14 Guinea Lane is a terrace house dating from around 1800, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The house is constructed from limestone ashlar, which is currently painted, and features pantiles on the roof, with a coped gable wall and an ashlar stack on the left side.
The exterior is two stories high and has a two-window range. On the first floor, there are two six-over-six sash windows set in plain reveals, with a band course above that creates a sill band, complemented by a continuous wrought iron balconette. The ground floor has an eight-over-eight sash window on the left, also in a plain reveal with a stone sill, and to the right, there is a six-panel door with flush, beaded, and glazed panels framed by a timber architrave, topped with a 20th-century three-pane overlight. The interior has not been inspected.
