Description

Pelham House is a house dating from around 1830, with an extension added to the north around 1850 in a matching style. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof and two end chimney stacks. The main block is two storeys high with three windows. The casement windows feature marginal glazing bars, cambered heads, and jalousies. Ground floor windows have tented heads supported by trelliswork. A central doorcase is topped with a cornice and columns. A mid-19th century, single-bay extension, built of similar materials, adjoins the north side. This extension features a first-floor casement with only vertical glazing bars and a tented ground-floor canopy.
