Description

The monument to Charles Howard, located approximately 10 metres west of the lychgate to Church Street in Cuckfield, is a chest tomb dating from around 1785. It is made of sandstone and sits on a brick plinth, featuring curved balusters at the ends, a moulded plinth, and a flat stone slab on top. The sides of the tomb are adorned with carved inscriptions.
