Description

The cart shed adjoining the barn at Harlands Farmhouse is likely from the late 18th century. It is an L-shaped structure consisting of three by two bays. The exterior is weatherboarded and sits on a brick plinth, topped with a half-hipped tiled roof. The roof features queen struts and clasped purlins. The open side of the shed is supported by two wooden piers with brick plinths, and there are wooden rectangular ventilation slits. This building is included for its group value.
