Description
Old House Cottages are two cottages that were formerly a farmhouse, likely built in the late 16th century. The original three-bay house was refronted, and a one-bay extension was added in the early 19th century. The south elevation is made of brown brick with grey headers, while the north elevation still shows some timber framing, and the side elevations are covered in tile. The building has a tiled roof with an off-center brick chimney stack. It is two storeys high and features three windows with casements. There is an S-shaped iron tie and a simple cambered doorcase. The cottages are depicted on an estate map from 1638.
