Description

No. 59 Sunnywood Drive is a house built between 1934 and 1936 by Lubetkin and Tecton, part of a group of eight houses designed in the International modern style. The structure features brickwork set on a cement plinth and has a flat roof that is concealed by a cement coping. It is two storeys high with a window arrangement of two windows on the upper floor and one window on the ground floor that spans the entire width of the house. The ground floor also includes a concrete balcony. A round-headed doorcase is located on the side, topped with a round-headed cement hood.
