Description
No. 62 on St Leonard's Road is a cottage that consists of two parts: the western section dates from the 17th century, while the eastern section was built in the late 18th to early 19th century. The earlier western part has a lower elevation compared to the eastern section. The cottage is two storeys high and features weatherboarding. It has a half-hipped roof made of Horsham slabs, which includes a blocked louvred gablet and overhanging eaves. There are two windows in the western part, which are casements with intact glazing bars. The later eastern section is also two storeys, finished in stucco with tile-hanging on the side. It has a tiled roof and one window, which is a sash with intact glazing bars. The entrance features a four-panel door, with the upper two panels removed for glazing.
