Description

No. 51 on Brighton Road is an early to mid 19th century building that stands two storeys high and features three windows. The exterior is stuccoed and includes four pilasters and a stringcourse. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The windows have segmental heads, and all are sashes, although the glazing bars are missing. The entrance is a round-headed doorway located within a later 19th century porch, which has a semi-circular fanlight above it. The door itself is a five-panel design, but the upper two panels have been removed for glazing.
