Description
32 and 34 High Street is a 16th-century timber-framed building that was refronted in the 18th century with stucco. The original timber framing, with plaster infilling and curved braces, is still visible on the north-west wall. The building features a Horsham slab roof and retains intact glazing bars on the first floor. Below, there are modern shop fronts. The structure has two storeys and an attic, with three windows and one hipped dormer. Notably, token coins were once made in the rear of No 32 when it was known as Mint House.
