Description

Causeway Cottage dates to around 1620 and is a two-story timber-framed building, although significantly restored. The ground floor is painted brick, while the first floor has a mock timber-frame appearance. The roof is hipped and has been renewed with tiles. There is one casement window with leaded lights. A modern bay window has been added to the ground floor. The right side features simple doorcases. The side elevation is faced with flints and has tile hanging on the first floor. Inside, exposed timbers and an inglenook fireplace are visible.
