Description

Penfold House and Penfold Lodge are an 18th-century building pair situated on the south-west side of Steying High Street. They are two storeys and an attic in height, presenting a six-window facade. The construction utilizes red brick with grey headers in an alternating pattern, punctuated by a stringcourse above each floor. A parapet tops the structure, concealing a Horsham slab roof. The original glazing bars remain intact throughout the windows. The main doorway features engaged columns, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a door comprised of six fielded panels.
